According to LG's website this indicates that the connection to the port is wrong. The monitor goes into power saving mode when started up while plugged in. Only one adapter is detected in my device manager list (DVI-I).ĭxDiag crashes when searching for hardware if my second monitor is plugged in (second monitor = the one not being detected). According to LG's web page these monitors drivers do not support windows 8.1 (but I doubt that's the real problem- I could always be wrong, I'm just a silly consumer at the end of the day). This card has two graphics ports, One is a DVI-D dual link as mentioned above and the other is a DVI-I dual link.Ĭurrently I only have the DVI-I port working. My graphics card is an AMD Radeon r9 200. Standard VGA plugs into monitor (LG Flatron W2243S)Ĭable also plugs into a DVI-D dual-link adapter which plugs into a port on my graphics card. I'm having trouble getting my 2nd monitor to work.
